FAQ

  • How Much Does a Boudoir Session Cost?
Your Session Fee is $299 and includes a complimentary phone consultation before you book, a 1.5 hour photoshoot in my Specialized Boudoir Studio with professional hair and makeup included, wardrobe guidance and styling via my 20+ page Exclusive Boudoir Prep Guide & SOOOO much more. Products & Images are purchased separately after a private reveal appointment which takes place roughly 2 weeks after your photoshoot. You can create your own packages with my a la carte menu or go with one of the pre-made packages I've put together for you with a variety of everything. I offer high resolution digital images, albums and wall art.
  • Do You Offer Payment Plans or Financing?
Your session fee is the only thing I require to be paid in full at the time of booking. Financing Options Summary: In House Pre-payment Plan - 0% interests, flexible due dates PayPal Credit - offers 6 months no interest when you pay in full (see their disclaimer for more info) Klarna - flexible payment options, including "Pay in 3 or 4" (interest-free installments), "Pay in 30 days" (a 30-day grace period), and "Pay in full" (immediate payment) Affirm - pay for purchases using a debit card, checking account, or Affirm savings account, and for down payments or "Pay in 4" (four biweekly, interest-free payments), you can also use a credit card. When it comes to products and images, I always offer my clients the ability to take advantage of my no interest, in house payment plan option. This especially comes in handy the further out you schedule your session. You can make payments leading up to your photoshoot in any amount. Post session payment plans are also available with a deposit of $799 at the time of your reveal and ordering appointment. For example, if you book 9-12 months in advance, you can make payments for those 9-12 months leading up to your session. This allows you to get the package you really want (and deserve) while spreading your investment out over time in smaller pieces. I also accept all major credit cards in the studio as well as cash, check, or the other payment options mentioned above.
  • Will You Share My Photos? I don't want anyone to know I'm doing this...
Add this to your list of questions you NEED to be asking every single photographer before you book your photoshoot. (Of course I want you all to pick me as your photographer, but ultimately I believe in this experience so much for women that I want you to have a great time, even if it ISN'T with me). YOU ARE NEVER OBLIGATED TO ALLOW ME TO SHARE YOUR IMAGES - publicly, privately, or anywhere. PERIOD. I take privacy very seriously (I'm a Scorpio sun, moon, and venus and iykyk). Some of my clients are high profile and absolutely can not let the fact they are even having a photoshoot become public knowledge. Some clients are school teachers, law enforcement, public officials, etc. Whatever your reason for needing privacy is, it's none of my business - I respect your decision. My Procedure: After every photoshoot, clients are sent a model release form. The form is simple, YES or NO. I keep the form on file for every single client because I refer to them each time I am collecting content to share in my portfolio or on social media. This means every single photo you've ever seen with your eyes is from a client who has graciously given me permission to do so. Please don't hesitate to reach me for more clarification on this! <3 Your comfort and confidence in my professionalism is my priority.
  • My Privacy Policy
Check out this quick instagram post for an explanation of my privacy policy:
  • I'm worried I can't pull this off, what if suck and take terrible photos?
I cannot tell you how many ladies have these same thoughts and fears. Every single photo you see in my portfolio is of everyday women, just like you (AND just like me). I've heard it all... "I don't know how to be s**y" "I am terrible at taking photos!" "I don't look like a model" The list goes on and on.. but take comfort in knowing that this itself is one of the gems about having this experience. You get to try something you thought you could never pull off, and you do it STUNNINGLY well, and easily I might add. I've got you covered, and I never get tired of how clients react when they see their first couple photos. I hear, "WOW! How did you do that?!", or "THAT IS NOT ME!!??" (and it's the raw image on the back of the camera after I just snapped the photo - I haven't even edited it yet!) It would be irresponsible of me to say that this photoshoot will solve ALL of your self confidence issues, but I do feel confident in saying that you will see yourself completely differently, from a perspective you didn't even know existed after your photoshoot. Please do NOT worry about a thing when it comes to knowing what you should be doing or how to pose for the camera. That is my job, and I am 100% guiding you the whole time.
  • Do you provide a wardrobe or should I get my own outfits?
A client closet or client wardrobe is not something that I offer in my studio - but don't worry, I won't leave you hanging. I provide you with an extensive boudoir prep guide when you book with me, including a section that fully covers outfit inspiration! The Prep Guide gives you: - A break down of different themes or styles my clients often choose - Photo examples of each look, so you can get a visual on what I'm referring to - A check list with each theme that helps break down all the pieces you might consider to "complete the look" - And a list of my favorite, more reliable places to shop! The list offers a range of options to be mindful of size inclusivity and price range. The biggest reason for why I opted to NOT have a client closet was because of the diversity of my clients - none of the ladies that come in have the same size, shape, style or vision, and because of this it would be impossible for me to provide enough variety in sizing and style to do everyone the justice they deserve. Also, this experience can be vulnerable for some women - and we love to overthink when we are nervous ;) So, in my experience, coming in to your session already knowing you have outfits that you like and fit you just takes one more potential worry off your plate for the morning! I do, however, have a small collection of one-size-fits all accessories that you are always more than welcome to use.
  • Do I have to wear lingerie?
Absolutely not, there are no rules on what you should and should not wear for your photoshoot. I like to create a space that offers you the most creative control as possible, as far as your vision and what you want to embody for your photoshoot. I love encouraging clients to step out of their comfort zone and if they want to test their own inner critic and narrative - if you find yourself not "the lingerie, girly girl type" maybe you want to push back and do it anyway for your photoshoot - just to prove that you can. But if you feel like forcing that is going to prevent you from enjoying and embracing this experience, there are many other ways we can style you that feel more like you. At the end of the day, I want you to like your outfit choices - so it doesn't really matter what it is, as long as you feel great when you have it on.
  • Where will my Photoshoot Take place?
One of the perks of going to a Specialized Boudoir studio is that we have designed a space specifically to meet the needs of the Genre. I have my own Private studio space in Cleveland - 2310 Superior Ave E to be exact! Having my own unique space allows me to maintain the perfect lighting and atmosphere to give clients the high quality and consistent photos that you see in my portfolio. The studio is private and I only work with one client at a time to ensure you don't feel rushed or like you've got an audience watching you.
  • What is the Parking Situation?
Along with the typical street parking options you find in Cleveland, I've got dedicated, private space that is just for our building use. No worries about circling the block for 15 minutes trying to find a spot, no concerns about leaving your vehicle in a public space - you'll be able to enter a gated parking lot free of charge.
  • Is the location safe?
If you're more of a suburb gal like me, don't worry! Sometimes people feel concerned when they hear that our building is an old warehouse building in Cleveland, but I can assure you - your safety is just as much of a concern to me as my own! I've been in this building for 5 years now, and I've never once felt unsure of my safety. The area is very well-maintained and is just on the outskirts of the bustling downtown cityscape, so we are close enough to all the amenities but far enough away from the "chaos". The building is for commercial space only and is locked 24/7, so there is never a time where someone is in the building that wasn't invited directly. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns.
